ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Ah, another wonderful evening....Chicken Wings..Milkshakes. Michael...Zack and myself. so heres how the story goes....lets backtrack from the end to the beginning..i suppose every story has to start from the beginning and make its way steadily to the end...

It all seems to come back to that needful desire to touch back to our childhood...when things were simplier, not so complex. everything was easier to handle. hell all i every worried about was where my han solo action figure was and when rocket power came on...

but oh how times change..and as we grow up..we grow in our responsibility...school..college..cars jobs money who are you? who do you want to be? what defines you as a person? what color are you in this test? orange blue green?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

these things weigh upon the mind as heavy as a tank...but im drifting from the main topic here...lets get back on this railroad track that doesnt seem to have a station to pull into and call it quits..
It started with wal mart. hell, we had nothing better to do, why not cruise wal mart real quick? see if any candy was on sale or look at the big 42" t.vs that captivate us much as they did when we were younger...we got stuck on one of these particular t.vs..a 42" panasonic playin none other than Wall E. we watched this for some time, remarking every now and then on the quality of the picture, "and oh for that price! what a steal!"......oh please....shortly after this michael talked us into driving by the bowling alley real quick, to see if his dad was working and maybe to play a quick game of bowling..we stopped, only to find that all the bowling shoes were out. just our luck. as we were leaving the parking lot, one of my tires missed the curb, and i bounced off the curb. oh well right? yeah, thats wat i thought until we reached the niblick bridge and heard an ominous thumping noise coming from the rear end..i had pinched the tire on the curb, creating a small one inch cut into the tire..we pulled over and called upon mr. nick rose because oh my my! theres no jack underneath the hood of my bronco!!!! (damn, ill need to get one of those!) breaking the nuts on my tire...i rambled off..why me? why me? all these people drive by, and do any of them stop and offer they're help? No. yet when i drive by and see someone having trouble, ill stop and help them out. cause im a nice guy. but, it seems lately, we nice guys, finish last.

now im not preaching im always nice, we all have our moments, and im not begging for pity, given that the "why me" statement at the time begged for just that. but sometimes it seems, that the crap never ends. and those of us who try hard to do the right thing, try hard to be good people, and try hard to follow God...sometimes it seems we get the shaft. and you look at these other people who just dont give a damn and dont get any crap.

but, like the time old saying goes, "the grass is always greener on the other side". and we all have these issues, and yes, some days are better than others..but its how you see and handle these days that matters most..and even though it seems like we nice guys finish in Last Place....i guess its all the perspective in the end right?
